Humanizing delivery

At Narmin, we develop last mile delivery software. But instead of narrowly focusing solely on technological efficiency, we also place emphasis on the human aspect.

Technological efficiency in service of human effectiveness

The ‘Last Mile’: that’s the part of the distribution chain where you, as a delivery service, can make a real difference. It’s no wonder that a lot of innovation happens here. However, in practice, it often doesn’t go smoothly. Illogical routes, hard-to-find addresses, or a door where no one answers.

Why does so much still go wrong, despite all the innovation?

In our opinion, this is because everyone is trying to manage the growing delivery flow with a focus on technological efficiency. However, far too little attention is paid to the people through whose hands all those shipments ultimately pass. The everyday reality of couriers doesn’t follow the theoretical logic of an algorithm.

The technology may seem efficient, but in practice, it’s simply not effective. At Narmin, we develop last-mile delivery software. But instead of myopically focusing solely on technological efficiency, we also focus on the human aspect.

Our software always puts the courier at the center. In fact, we continuously integrate the practical knowledge and experience of couriers into our solutions.

With Narmin, daily practice becomes the leading factor again. That’s efficient, but above all, effective. In short: less stress; less hassle; happier couriers; happier customers. That’s what we mean by Humanizing delivery

We originally started as couriers ourselves

The start

Fascinated by the opportunities we saw in delivery technology, we started a company in XXXX under the name Storegear, which would now be called a fast delivery service. We developed all the digital applications ourselves and used them ourselves as couriers in daily practice. That experience is now worth its weight in gold.

Think bigger

We grew into what was called Routetitan in XXXX: a brand name that referred to our goal of making small and medium-sized businesses big in delivery. But strangely enough, we turned out to have much more traction with very large couriers, such as DHL.

Humanizing delivery

That’s why, since XXXX, we have focused on last-mile delivery applications for large (delivery) companies. It’s precisely in that environment that our focus on the human touch stands out. This humanity is also reflected in our new brand name: Narmin, which is a combination of the Armenian first names of our founders: Narek and Emin.

By taking the daily reality of couriers as a starting point, we come up with very inventive solutions that make our last-mile delivery software much more human.
