Narmin selected by Albert Heijn to transform its delivery navigation across the Benelux

Following a competitive selection process, the Netherlands' largest supermarket chain is equipping its delivery drivers with navigation built for the last meters of every delivery.

ROTTERDAM, September 22, 2026 — Narmin, a provider of navigation and last-meter delivery intelligence, today announced that Albert Heijn has selected its platform to support thousands of delivery drivers across the Benelux. Following the initial go-live, the rollout will bring together up-to-date route information, accurate guidance to delivery locations, and navigation fully integrated into drivers’ delivery workflow.

For grocery delivery drivers, finding the right address is an essential part of completing each delivery. Unfamiliar streets, hard-to-find entrances, and unclear delivery locations can create uncertainty in the final meters of a journey. Albert Heijn’s partnership with Narmin focuses on helping drivers navigate these everyday challenges with greater confidence and less hassle.

"With this new navigation system, our drivers have even more up to date route information and are guided precisely to the delivery location, right down to the last meter. The navigation is fully integrated, so our drivers now only need one device on the road. That makes their work much easier," said Merlin Wetzels‑De Jong, VP eCommerce at Albert Heijn.

Driver knowledge is central to Narmin’s approach. By capturing feedback from the people making deliveries, the platform helps turn practical experience into better guidance for the next driver. This creates a continuous cycle of learning and improvement, with drivers helping shape the tools they use every day.

Early feedback from Albert Heijn drivers has been positive. The initial rollout has also seen a significant reduction in address-finding issues reported to Albert Heijn’s customer service team, providing an encouraging early indication of the difference more precise guidance can make.

“We built Narmin to help drivers. Every aspect of our navigation starts with the challenges they face during their working day, especially in the last meters of a delivery,” said Emin Younan, Co-founder of Narmin. “We’re proud to work with Albert Heijn to bring that approach to thousands of drivers across the Benelux. Hearing positive feedback from drivers and seeing fewer address-finding issues so early on is exactly why we do this work.”

As the rollout progresses, Narmin and Albert Heijn will continue to use driver feedback and operational insights to improve the delivery experience.
